വയനാട് മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജിനെതിരെ ഗുരുതര ചികിത്സാ പിഴവ് ആരോപണം. പ്രസവം കഴിഞ്ഞ യുവതിയുടെ ശരീരത്തിനകത്ത് കോട്ടൺ തുണി പുറത്തെടുത്തില്ലെന്നാണ് ആരോപണം.

വേദനയും ദുർഗന്ധവും കാരണം ചികിത്സ തേടിയിട്ടും തുണി കണ്ടെത്തിയില്ല. ഒടുവിൽ 75 ദിവസത്തിന് ശേഷമാണ് ശരീരത്തിൽ നിന്ന് കോട്ടൺ തുണി തനിയെ പുറത്തുവന്നത്. രക്തസ്രാവം തടയാൻ വച്ച തുണിയാണ് പുറത്തെടുക്കാതിരുന്നത്.
